How To Build Your Buyers List and Sell Land Fast

There are a few incredibly simple ways to build up your buyers list. The first way is to go into Facebook groups and look for people who say that they buy properties. Contact these people and ask if they also buy land, and if they do then ask for their contact information.

Another way to build your buyers list is to request the contact information of every person who enquires about one of your properties. It seems so simple, but many land flippers are leaving money on the table by not following up! The trick is to ask open-ended questions to get them engaged.

The third way that we cover in this episode is to create an opt-in page. This is a simple page on your website that is used to gather the contact information of potential buyers. You Don't Need a Big Buyers List, You Need A Good One

A common misconception is that in order to sell land fast, you need a gigantic list of buyers to market to. The reality is a smaller, high-quality list is far more useful than a giant list of random people. Paul Young, one of our Hall of Fame Students, sold most of his properties using a list of only 400 people!

“So every single person that comes in, every single person that inquires about it, the goal is to get them added to your buyers list. Will you reach 100%? No, of course not. You won't. But a certain percentage will respond, and that is the percentage that you need to foster and you need to work on the skills and you need to work on different wordings to see what creates more rapport with them.”
